The Examinations Department said that all arrangements have been made to conduct the examination. 286,807 students will sit the exam which will be held at 2,628 examination centres. The Examinations Department has taken measures to hold the exam in the schools where the children study. Commissioner General of Examinations Anura Edirisinghe said that in some schools the examination is not being held and the students will be accompanied to the examination centres by the Principal or his representative. He further said that the students should bring only the required pens, pencils, eraser, a ruler and a paper with the index number written on it.
